Delete your Fusen account
This page explains how to delete your Fusen account and what happens to your information. Fusen is made by an
individual developer in Japan.
In the app
- Open Settings → Account and sync.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The account is deleted at once. This also signs the device out of sync.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the subject “Delete my account”:
- send it from the address of the account: the Gmail or Google address you signed in with, or the address you
signed in with by email;
- if you cannot send from that address, tell us which address it is. We will email it to confirm before deleting
anything.
We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, Google account ID and sign-in sessions on every device.
- Your free and paid credits. Paid credits are not refunded on deletion.
- Your usage records.
What is kept
- A small record for 35 days (a year if the account was blocked for abuse), so that deleting and recreating an
account can’t be used to get extra free credits. It holds your Google account ID or a hash of your email address,
the free credits left that month, the number of requests the AI declined, and whether the account was blocked. If
you sign in again during that time, the new account starts with those values.
- Server logs for up to 30 days. They hold request times and results, never the text you translated.
- Anonymous usage statistics already added to totals. They were never linked to your account.
Your notebook is not on our server
Deleting the account does not touch your notebook, which is on your device and, if you used sync, in your own
Google Drive. To delete those too:
- On the device: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android’s settings. Export a backup first if you want
to keep your words.
- In Google Drive: in the app, Settings → Account and sync → Delete synced data. Without the app, open Google
Drive on the web, go to Settings → Manage apps, find Fusen, and choose Delete hidden app data.
- Google access: remove Fusen in your Google account under Security → Third-party apps & services.
